Cabin Fever

After rustling around with numerical modeling problems on Friday all I wanted to do was go home and curl up in bed. Really that's all I had planned since my flight had gotten in late the night before and I still needed to unpack. But Trevan and Jeff called to see if I wanted to go to a party and I went. I don't even know who's house it was at but it was a pretty good time. Saw a couple people I knew and met some new people. I'm always totally shy though when I'm around large groups of people that I don't know.

Today I slept in and finally unpacked. Tonight my friends Megan and Greg rented a cabin up in Big Cottonwood Canyon; so Jen, Brian, and myself went up there for dinner and to play games. It was a great time! I especially liked the fact that the cabin had no road to it so we had to snowshoe in for about a half mile, added some adventure to the whole experience. We played in the snow for a bit, and skied down the hill in the backyard. The drive down was a bit slow since it snowed some seven inches while we were up there. All in all a good time.
